How to Volunteer

Complete your Volunteer Application and Fingerprints with HSD

An approved application is required before volunteering at any Hillsboro district school.  A complete overview can be accessed on the district website via this link.

The process includes two steps:

Fill out a Volunteer Application HERE

Complete a Fingerprint Clearance by following the steps outlined HERE

Check your Volunteer Status HERE

The application and fingerprint clearance process should be started at least two weeks before you intend to volunteer to allow proper time for processing.  If you are not fully cleared by your volunteer shift, you will unfortunately not be admitted into the building.

The volunteer application needs to be resubmitted every two years to keep your volunteer status active.  The fingerprinting process is valid as long as you remain in the area and does not need to be repeated.
